Day 2 Fashion Week
The Kaelen show was fabulous! She does some eco collaboration Coclico shoes and so I give her props for being in the game. This was the first show I saw in the “big tent” and it was fantastic to be in a standing show which was also a first for me. You could really get a feel for each piece and it was fun to listen to the comments from other more experienced editors as we circled around snapping and gazing.
I particularly loved the gold sheath dress and the long black and white panel dress with shorter hem on the sides. Innovative. Also the brown woven suit not only an interesting notched lapel design but there were also copper threads in the fabric that caught the light beautifully.
Overall, a minimalist collection for grownups.
